The Inspector General of Police wishes to inform the general public that vacancies for the positions of Learner Assistant Inspector of Police and Probationer Police Constable are still available. Applications are invited from suitably qualiﬁ ed Ugandan citizens to join the Uganda Police Force.
(a) To enforce law and order.
(b) To protect life and property.

(d) To prevent and detect crime.
(e) Any other duties as assigned by the Inspector General of Police.
1. Must be a Ugandan citizen with a valid National ID (NIN).
2. Must have no criminal record.
3. Should be ready to undertake the requisite twelve (12) months Police Basic Training.
4. Must be physically ﬁt.
5. Ready to work for long hours and at times under difﬁcult conditions.
6. Should be ready to work in any part of the country.
7. Possess good communication skills.
8. Must not be a former or serving ofﬁcer in any of the Forces.

Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Air conditioning and Refrigeration; Forensic Science and any other Diploma with a bias in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
