Key Duties and Responsibilities:
In charge of registering dispensed drugs and medicines.
Guiding and advising patients and attendants in the proper use and storage of medicines. Making requisitions for medicines and other health supplies from stores.
Carrying-out regular equipment servicing and ensure that they are functional.
In charge of identifying and classify drugs, keep stock and adhere to Professional Code of Conduct and Ethics.
Compiling and sending reports on drugs usage and submitting to the Senior
Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
The ideal candidate must hold at least a diploma in Pharmacy, Clinical Medicine or any relevant health related course from a recognized institution.
He / she should also be registered with the Allied Health Professionals’ Council or its equivalent
Candidates should have at least 6months working experience in a healthcare based
setting. Candidates must be knowledgeable in basic computer applications especially MS Office and should be aged between 22 – 28 years.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL
· Should be fluent in the commonly used languages, Luganda & English and ready to work.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skill.
· Knowledge of basic computer skills is essential and mandatory.
